
I am a self-confessed cookbook and magazine addict. I own around 250 cookbooks and about 300 magazines which grows each week. I buy Saveur, (my favourite), Bon Appetit, Food and Wine, Jamie and Australian Gourmet Traveller on a regular basis. I also occasionally buy Waitrose Illustrated, Delicious, Olive and Australian Vogue entertaining & travel. I sadly lament the loss of Gourmet (my very favourite).
My cookbook collection covers almost every aspect of cooking an
d cuisine. Some are educational, some are beautiful, some are inspirational, some are useful and some I wonder why I bought.I buy around 2 - 3 cookbooks a month, more or less and source them from many places. I also keep my own cooking journal (thank you Mr Nigel Slater for your inspirational "The Kitchen Diaries") of ideas, recipes and thoughts regarding all aspects of cooking.
