So it turns out, the wisdom tooth extraction I had performed on Tuesday has turned into an immensely painful infection known as 'dry socket'. Great. This is an uncommon occurrence where the blood clot that had formed to protect my tooth while healing became dislodged for some reason and therefore the gum nerves and bone are exposed to air etc. causing more pain, more time healing and stronger drugs! needless to say, things may be a little quiet for a while as I heal and can't really stomach or cook anything at all. Why me?
