Not content with just delighting us with their presence while feeding, the bushtits today decided to be achingly adorable by using our trellis as a shelter, roosting together in little pairs or groups and napping while fluffing out their feathers to keep warm and dry in the sleety weather. No sign of the chickadees today, maybe they don't like the rain, (not sure whether Vancouver is a good home for them)! or maybe they just knew they couldn't compete with the bushtit cuteness. Poor things, hope they come back in drier weather.
